Rackhouse, Bourbon Barrel Aged Red Blend

A Kentucky Rack House is built nine-stories tall, allowing for different levels of dryness and temperature for Bourbon Barrel aging. Changes in temperature within the Rack House are a major factor in moving the aging liquor in and out of the pores of the barrel wood. Each barrel contains some residual bourbon in the wood. Rackhouse Bourbon Barrel Red Blend is a delicious combination of premier Lodi Cabernet, Zinfandel and Syrah that spends three months in these unique Kentucky Bourbon Barrels.

Profile

Flavors of rich, dark cherry and blackberry with notes of toasted vanilla and brown sugar that integrate deliciously with toasty coffee and spice notes. Rackhouse Red Blend is a well-balanced, refined, full-bodied wine that provides excellent structure and generous tannins.

Pair

Perfect with anything grilled – juicy burgers, sausages and steaks. Pair with pasta and Bolognese sauce. A delicious accompaniment to charcuterie boards, it blends beautifully with a wide variety of cheeses and cured meats.

Shipping

Depending on demand, it typically takes us 1-2 days to process your order and have your wine sampler pack ready to ship to your doorstep. Once the box leaves our warehouse, the box should arrive at your home within 5–10 business days for U.S. locations.

Both the person placing the order and the person receiving the order must be 21+ years of age and be able to show ID upon delivery. We strongly suggest that you have the wine delivered to a place of business or to your nearest FedEx pick-up location to prevent the risk of multiple delivery attempts.
